At the risk of being called out as a “FanBoy…”
I think the drama with the iPhone 4 is pretty stupid. People are going out of their way to trash talk Apple. While this has been the case for over 10 years, it seems now, it has become more popular because Apple’s products are now… popular.
Yes, in some case’s the iPhone will drop a call, if in the off chance you hold the iPhone in a specific way. But remember, this isnt the only phone in the world that does this.
People looking in from the outside, don’t get Apple. They don’t understand how innovative and industry changing the company really is. Steve Jobs is probably one of the most brilliant entrepreneurs in the world. He may not have the lovable personality that you want him to have. But he knows how to to make innovative technology, and he knows how to sell a product.
And for those jumping on the trash talk train just because the products are popular should take note: this wasn’t always the case. For the longest time Apple was a niche company serving less than 10% of the consumer electronics/PC market. Some of us were Apple fans long before the company was worth more than Microsoft.
